SocialRecruiter.co.uk – Number 1 in Google UK

Just a quick one to say that last week, our social recruiting site ranked number 2 in Google UK search results. Today, it has taking the number 1 spot and our next aim is to conquer the Google US position.

Why are we bothered about where and how our site ranks? SEO is nicely tied with Social Media as how search engines index your recruitment website pages will determine how quickly specific visitors can find your site.

As imagined, the more visibility ones get, the higher the chances of getting an audience.

Your site still shows in position #2 on my browser using http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=social+recruiter which is because you can’t guarantee a position for *any* website. The search engines take into account various factors, including individual user location, behavior, browsing history, etc., which ensures that results vary by whomever is searching!
